What Runline becomes once it runs a whole credit union: the five fundamentals of an AI-native operating system.
Runline Framework is the platform Runline builds. [Client] COS is what that platform becomes once it's running at a specific credit union, shaped to their Runlines, their Runners, their people. Frankenmuth's instance is the Frankenmuth CU COS.
The first Interlay is FCU's Loan Hub. It's not the ceiling, it's the proof point: as Runline weaves deeper, the same extraction discipline gets applied everywhere time is lost to handoffs, until the sum of those Interlays becomes the operating system the whole company runs on.
The five fundamentals
- The Codex: shared operating principles. One canonical reference instead of every department keeping its own version of the truth.
- The Chronicle: visibility across past (audit), present (what's running now), and future (scheduled work).
- The Console: the cross-org surface (see Console).
- The Compounding Loop: continuous improvement built in (see Compounding Loops).
- The Current: company spirit. How people treat each other, how decisions get made.
Pilot
The platform gives us Runner (the agent) and Runline (the governance layer it operates in). The human counterpart is the Pilot: reviews, directs, approves. A Pilot steers; a Runner executes.
