Third-party SaaS tools, the productivity and work apps a team already lives in, connect through the Nango-backed, fully brokered Connections layer. Identity owns authorization, and no Runner ever holds a credential.

The point is to let a Runner act where the work already lives: draft the email, post to the channel, open the ticket, without a person copying context between tabs.
How the broker keeps it safe
Every connection is owned by an org, a team, or a user, and the grant model is enforced by construction. Org and team connections carry implicit trust for Runners acting for that org; a user-owned connection carries zero implicit grants, ever. A Runner calls identity, identity checks the grant and calls the tool server-side, and the Runner gets the result, never a credential it could reuse.
