The Runline API is the programmatic surface for everything a Runline manages. Base host: https://api.runline.run. There is no /v1; the API is unversioned by design.
How it changes
Changes are additive only, so an integration built today keeps working. Per-type compatibility is carried by schema_version on each Item type, which lets a type evolve without breaking the Items already created against it. The TypeScript SDK is generated from typed schemas, not from a hand-maintained OpenAPI file, so the client and the contract never drift.
What it exposes
The API is built around the Items model: create and transition Items, filter Streams, and drive the same Runner actions a Runline's own app uses. An API a model cannot tool is unfinished, so everything a Runner does is reachable here, which is what makes building your own apps first-class.
